Dragsters, funny cars, more in Chandler this weekend

Firebird Motorsports Park in Chandler hosts the Firebird Fall Shootout races this Friday and Saturday, Oct. 18 and 19, 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. Top alcohol dragsters, top alcohol funny cars, jet cars and bracket racers will all be included.

Firebird Motorsports Park in Chandler hosts the Firebird Fall Shootout races this Friday and Saturday, Oct. 18 and 19, 6 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Top alcohol dragsters, top alcohol funny cars, jet cars and bracket racers will all be included.
Racer gates open Friday at 4 p.m. and Saturday at 2 p.m. Spectator gates open Friday at 5 p.m. and Saturday at 4 p.m.
Alcohol qualifying is Friday at 6:30 p.m., 8 p.m and 9:30 p.m. Eliminations start Saturday at 5:30 p.m., with the national anthem/invocation and then the alcohol dragsters first round to follow.
Bring ear plugs for the loud vehicles. Tickets start at $25 and can be purchased here.
