Walmart, the first superstore in Surprise in the late 1990s, is now welcoming customers into the newly remodeled store with a celebratory ribbon-cutting and community event on Friday, Sept. 27.
A new look is being unveiled at the Walmart Supercenter at 13770 W. Bell Road.
The first superstore in Surprise in the late 1990s is now welcoming customers into the newly remodeled store with a celebratory ribbon-cutting and community event on Friday, Sept. 27.
The celebration will include showing off a new community-focused mural, family-friendly activities and the recognition of community partnerships with the presentation of grants to Arizona FC, Hadleys Hope, Rae of Light, Benevilla and Trilogy Veterans Club.
Surprise Walmart Supercenter Store Manager Norm Miller said customers will see the following improvements:
A newly painted building inside and out.
Expanded grocery and health and beauty products.
New front-end layout to enhance check out.
Updated vision center.
New apparel displays.
Expanded delivery options.
Expanded and upgraded electronics department.
Expanded and updated Grab-and-Go section.
New flooring to replace the existing tile.
New lighting and signage throughout the store making it easier for customers to navigate.
