Surprise Pet Hotel has Grand new outlook

Upgrades transform kennel since summer purchase

Grand Pet Hotel, a destination for pets in the northwest Valley for nearly 15 years, announced new ownership and a fresh vision.

New owner Lawrence Andrews has been transforming the pet hotel at 12801 W. Bell Road, Suite 153, through significant upgrades and enhancements since purchasing it this summer.

The renovated Surprise pet hotel occupies more than 8,000 square feet indoors anbd outdoors.

New features include the following:

  • 24/7 staffing for optimal care and safety.
  • Three shaded outdoor parks equipped with turf, play equipment, trees, and water features.
  • A beach-themed indoor playroom complete with DOGTV and music to entertain and relax the pets.
  • A jungle-inspired cat retreat.
  • Simplified, easy pricing, including some recent key price reductions.
  • Daycare available 365 days a year, with no reservation required.

“I purchased Grand Pet Hotel with the dream of building something of a little Disneyland for pets, where they can thrive, not just when their parents are away but every single day,” Andrews said. “Pets are an essential part of this community, and our team of animal experts is committed to providing the highest level of care and love to each cat and dog guest.”

The hotel’s dog suites have been renovated and now provide brightly painted comfortable spaces with airy gates, elevated cots, soft bedding laundered daily, and ambient nature sounds, creating a peaceful environment for canine guests.

And the cat condos now feature perches and hammocks for lounging, daily independent roaming time in a jungle cat play area complete with cat tree, tunnels, and laser chase game and large windows for optimal natural light and stimulation.

“Our goal is to create a space where pet parents immediately feel the love and care our team provides the moment they walk through the door,” Andrews said. “We’re proud of the enhancements we’ve been able to make the past couple of months, and invite our community neighbors to drop in for a tour anytime. I’m confident they will see the Grand Pet Hotel difference in our approach and commitment to your pets.”
