Surprise looking for Fiesta Grande vendors

Up to 10,000 people expected at this year’s park celebration

The city of Surprise is expecting as many as 10,000 people to come out to this year’s Fiesta Grande on Saturday, Oct. 5 at Mark Coronado Park.

The city is now seeking car show entries, promotional vendors, outreach organizations and local businesses for the annual celebration, which will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. at 15960 N. Bullard Ave.

This all-ages event celebrates the vibrant culture and traditions that have shaped the city with an evening of live music, food, entertainment and more.

Admission is free. This annual event is expected to draw 8,000 to 10,000 participants.

Attendees will experience authentic Mexican food, mariachi music, folklórico dancing, a car show, Lucha Libre wrestling, a petting zoo and pony rides, inflatables and other attractions.

See details at surpriseaz.gov/FiestaGrande.

The event offers promotional opportunities for interested businesses, organizations and nonprofits.

The promotional booth fee is $500 for business vendors and $150 for nonprofits. Each booth includes a 10 x 10 vendor tent, one table and two chairs. Note that this registration is intended for business vendors focused on promoting their business, not for selling goods or services. Space is limited, so register now.

The city is also accepting car show entries for the event. A $25 pre-event registration fee includes a T-shirt, dash plaque and goody bag.

To reserve a spot for a promotional booth or the car show, go to surpriseaz.gov/SurpriseRec and create an account, or log in for those who already have an account. Then click the ‘Special Events’ tab to register.

Registration can also be done at 623-222-2000.
