Ground Floor Artists announced the exhibition of artwork created by the talented students of its Next Generation Teen Program.

The exhibition at 13343 W. Foxfire Drive showcases a range of artistic expressions, highlighting the program’s commitment to nurturing young artistic talent.

After six months of intensive training under the guidance of professional artists, the teen participants have honed their skills in various mediums, including painting, drawing, sculpture, pottery and mixed media. The exhibition offers a unique opportunity to witness the creative potential of these emerging artists.

“We are incredibly proud of the progress our students have made,” said Jessica Pierce, executive director at GFA. “This exhibition is a testament to their dedication and passion for art. We believe that these young artists have the potential to make a significant impact on the art world.”

The exhibition is on display through Aug. 27 at the Surprise studio.

An opening reception will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 9. The event is open to the public and offers a chance to meet the young artists and celebrate their achievements.

Next Gen Teen Art Program Participants are Courtney Dewey, Nicholette Figueroa, Karina Gordon, Lily Hinsley, Edyn Hughes, Rachael Keyton, Samantha Keyton, Julien Kuzmanic, Arianna Medina and Avery Szymoniak.

The Next Generation Teen Program provides aspiring artists with a comprehensive art education at no cost.
