Adaptive art project coming to Surprise

The city of Surprise is hosting an adaptive arts and crafts event where participants are creating Boho arrows.

It's scheduled for 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 9 at Sierra Montana Recreation Center, 14861 N. Spring Lane.

This adaptive recreation special interest class is designed for participants to work on increasing fine motor skills through entertaining activities such as arts, crafts and various fun projects.

This session invites participants of all abilities to design and create their own personalized Boho arrows.

The cost for residents is $20 and $22 for non-residents.
