The AZ Artists’ Salon is hosting an opening reception in Surprise this week.

It's  one of West Valley Arts Council's premier annual exhibitions, featuring the works of WVAC artist members through Oct. 10.

The opening reception is from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 6 at Arts HQ Gallery, 16126 N. Civic Center Plaza

The gallery is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesdays through Saturdays.

The Salon is a comprehensive art show that showcases the varied creative and skilled works of both emerging and master-level artists, celebrating the talent, artistry and originality of their works.

In the tradition of the Parisian art salons of the 18th and 19th century, the AZ Artists’ Salon presents an unmatched, exclusive annual exhibition of creative work.

This exhibit is free and open to the public.
