Ground Floor Artists is living an experience “Inspired by Picasso,” a new exhibit that pays tribute to the life, style and themes of the legendary Spanish artist Pablo Picasso.

The exhibit, which runs through Nov. 2, features works in a variety of mediums, each reimagining the bold creativity of Picasso’s artistry. With a diverse lineup of artists exploring the full range of inspiration — from literal interpretations to thematic explorations of Picasso’s impact — visitors are invited to immerse themselves in a world of color, abstraction and emotional depth.

From the evocative depths of his Blue Period to the revolutionary spirit of Cubism, this exhibit captures the essence of Picasso’s boundless influence while showcasing fresh and contemporary interpretations from talented artists across the region.

Join the artists for the opening reception from 5 to 7 p.m. on Oct. 11. Mingle with the featured artists and learn first-hand about their inspiration behind each incredible artwork on display.

This special evening will celebrate the talent and vision of the following featured artists: Diane Kent, Uta Janiulis, Karen Izzi, Annaz Rouhani, Chris Newpher, Harold Lohner, Steve Phillips, Aleksandra Scepanovic, Nancy Christy-Moore, Rafael Gutierrez, David Anderson, Judith Visker, Bela Fidel, Marc Chicoine, Barry Farmer, Melanie Mead, YiJu Miller, Jackson Kloog, Katheryn Giudici, Kara Marshall, Barbara Benesch, Darlene Ritter, Erin Wilkins and Kelley Smith.

Admission is free, and the event will feature refreshments and live music to enhance the experience.
