The NCAA announced the Surprise Tennis and Racquet Complex, in partnership with the PacWest Conference, will host the 2027 NCAA Division II National Tennis Championships.
The top 16 of each of the Division II men’s and women’s teams from across the country will be in Surprise from May 18 to 23, 2027, vying for a national championship.
The city was already named host of the 2026 tournament as well. Surprise has hosted the NCAA tennis championships four times before – 2013, 2015, 2018 and 2021.
All matches will be held at the Surprise Tennis and Racquet Complex, 14469 W. Paradise Lane. The 25-court venue is one of the nation’s top tennis centers, hosting national and conference tennis championships at all levels.
Surprise was selected as the host site based on several factors. Among them were the ability to create an outstanding experience for student-athletes, along with adherence to NCAA sport-specific bid specifications.
The specifications included providing optimal facilities; ease of travel to the location; ample lodging; and adherence to NCAA principles, which include providing an atmosphere that is safe and respects the dignity of all attendees.
