Letters: Rising inflation is benefitting Surprise with more tax revenues

With inflation, everyone is feeling the effects. Many families are are struggling just to get from paycheck to paycheck.

With Surprise citizens having to make sacrifices, I feel the city needs to make sacrifices as well. That’s part of leadership.

Think about this, when something sold for $100 four year ago and now it costs $120, the city is getting an increase in tax revenue.
