A jazzy evening summer concert surrounded by artwork is coming to the Arts HQ Gallery on Thursday, July 25.

From 6 to 7 p.m. legendary guitarist Howard Alden, and Suzanne Lansford (of We3) on violin and vocals, team up for this special concert that will transport attendees from 52nd Street in midtown Manhattan across the Atlantic to the Latin Quarter of Paris.

The music will celebrate international favorites by Edith Piaf, Nat King Cole, Django Reinhardt and many others.

Autumn Leaves, La Vie en Rose, and how about a musette waltz or two? There will definitely be an accordion involved.

Space is limited, so reserve tickets and make plans.

Tickets are $12 and are available at eventbrite.com. They can also be purchased over the phone during gallery hours, which are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesdays through Saturdays.

The Arts HQ Gallery is located at 16126 N. Civic Center Plaza, Suite 102, just north of the Surprise City Hall. There is parking on either side of the one-story building, with overflow parking in the adjacent courthouse parkin lot.

Open seating begins at 5:30pm.

Ice cream and Sherbet will also be served for a donation.

Contact the Arts HQ Gallery at 623-584-2626 for any questions.

Escape the heat and travel through music.
