From expanded free pickup and delivery options to in-store shopping, a recent event showcased many aspects of a Walmart Supercenter remodel.
On May 17, Walmart welcomed customers to the transformed Chandler Supercenter at 800 W. Warner Road, near Alma School Road.
A celebratory ribbon-cutting ceremony included the unveiling of a new community-focused mural, featuring education, parks and golf themes, all part of the heritage the Chandler neighborhood.
Chester Cheetah and family-friendly activities were on hand, as well as samples from Walmart vendors.
Improvements include new paint, apparel shopping that includes mannequins and digital displays, digital menu boards in the pharmacy, deli, service desk and electronics departments; home décor vignettes, deli cases featuring more hot food items and a revamped grab-and-go food shop.
There is new flooring throughout the store to replace the previous tile and new lighting and signs throughout the store.
The new pharmacy layout includes a “health room,” private consult alcove and digital menu boards.
