INDEPENDENT NEWSMEDIA
Tacos Chiwas has closed its Chandler location on the northwest corner of Alma School and Warner roads but will still maintain two others.
The last day it was open was Friday, June 28.
“Hello everyone we have decided not to renew our lease at our Tacos Chiwas Chandler location (it will be closing this Friday 06/28/24), with the hope finding a new bigger home for it,” management wrote on the Chandler location’s social media. “This location no longer really makes sense for us as we need a bigger location we can have costumer restrooms and add a bar as well. It was a wonderful 5 years thank you to everyone who supported us during that time. Keep an eye out as we look forward to a replacement home for it! Mucho Amor #lookingfoward.”
The other Taco Chiwas are on Indian School Road in Phoenix, between Seventh and 12th streets, and in Downtown Mesa.
