Chandler offices, libraries, museum among July 4 closures

Chandler city offices and some other facilities will be closed  Thursday, July 4, 2024, in observance of the Independence Day holiday.

Chandler offices, libraries, museum among July 4 closures

Chandler city offices and some other facilities will be closed  Thursday, July 4, 2024, in observance of the Independence Day holiday.
Here are some of the closures:
  • City administrative offices will be closed.
  • All Chandler Public Libraries (Downtown, Basha, Hamilton, Sunset) will be closed.
  • The Chandler Museum will be closed.
  • The Center for the Arts box office and the galleries at the Center for the Arts and the Vision Gallery will be closed.
  • All Chandler pools — Arrowhead, Desert Oasis, Folley, Hamilton, Mesquite Groves and Nozomi, will open at their regular Thursday times, which vary, and will close at 5 p.m. Lap-swimming sessions will not be available on July 4.
  • Chandler's Community Center, Senior Center, Nature Center, Snedigar Recreation Center, Tennis Center, and the Tumbleweed Recreation Center will be closed. 
  • Recycling and trash will be collected on the holiday.
  • The Solid Waste Services office and the Recycling-Solid Waste Collection center will be closed.
