A proposed 2,473-square-foot Chipotle restaurant with drive-thru has been propsed for north of the northeast corner of Higley and Chandler Heights roads, according to commerical real-estate website vizzda.com.
A use permit request and a design review request for the restaurant were brought to the Gilbert Planning Commission meeting May 1.
Chipotle is an international chain of fast-casual restaurants out of California that serves bowls, tacos, and Mission burritos made to order in front of the customer.
The proposed site is 1.2 acres. The proposal calls for a single-story building, 22 feet, 3 inches in height, with a drive-thru and 32 parking spaces, including two Americans with Disabilities Act spaces.
