Tempe PD asks public for help identifying mall shooting suspects

Posted

Tempe Police Department detectives are following up on leads as they attempt to locate those involved in the Friday night shooting at the food court inside Arizona Mills mall.

Authorities are asking for the public’s help and urge anyone who has a video or photos from the mall or food court between 7-8 p.m. Sept. 13 to contact the department at 480-350-8311. Callers may remain anonymous, police said.

At about 7:30 p.m. Sept. 13, police received multiple 911 calls of shots fired at the mall.  People in the food court ran for cover, and no one was injured.

Prior to the shooting, there was an argument between two groups, police stated in a release.
