Tempe police investigate Arizona Mills mall shooting

Several law enforcement agencies were called to Arizona Mills mall in Tempe on Friday night following a 911 call reporting shots fired at the food court. No one was hurt, police said.

Tempe police are investigating after officers conducted multiple sweeps of the mall and spoke to witnesses, according to a statement released Saturday morning.

The 911 call came in about 7:30 p.m. Sept. 13. Witnesses told police the suspect fled the area.

The mall is located  near Baseline Road and Interstate 10.
