Valley Vista to unveil new turf field prior to football game

Valley Vista High School, 15550 N. Parkview Place, will host a dedication ceremony for its new turf field prior to the home varsity football game on Friday, Sept. 20.

The dedication ceremony starts 20 minutes before the 7 p.m. game kickoff.

The ceremony will include city officials, as well as district and school leaders, speaking on the field followed by a ceremonial ribbon cutting.

The field features a  durable turf playing field that highlights school colors and the mascot.
