Adaptive family swim party planned for Surprise pool

Surprise is planning an adaptive family swim party for individuals with disabilities and their families.

It’s scheduled for 5 to 7:30 pm. Saturday, July 13 at the Hollyhock Pool, 15808 N. Hollyhock St.

The Parks and Recreation Department is hosting the family swim party with pizza and dessert.

The event features a waterslide, splash area and extra lifeguards to ensure a safe fun event for all.

Residents are $5 per person in advance and $7 on day of event. Non-residents are $7 per person in advance and $9 on day of event.

Ages 3 and under are free.
