ACL Fan Appreciation Night set for Surprise Stadium

Posted

The Arizona Complex League, in collaboration with the Kansas City Royals, announced Fan Appreciation Night in Surprise on Friday, May 31.

Catch the ACL Kansas City Royals as they take on the ACL Cleveland Guardians at 6 p.m. at Surprise Stadium.

Gates open at 5 p.m., and admission is free. Attendees can enjoy complimentary hot dogs and peanuts (one per guest), courtesy of the  Royals.

Operating under Major League Baseball since 1988, the Arizona Complex League is the first stop along the player development system for half of MLB clubs.

All 15 Major League teams within the Arizona Cactus League have a team participating in the ACL.

Every player participating in the league is a professional baseball player, typically within their first three years of their professional career.

However, for many teams including the Kansas City Royals, the club’s Arizona locations also serve as the organization’s rehab facilities.

Recovering players from any level within the organization may participate in Arizona Complex League games before returning to their respective teams.

For additional information regarding the Arizona Complex League, contact the Surprise Stadium Box Office at 623-222-2222, or visit MLB AZ Complex League.
