Sun City West church slates AARP driving course

Shepherd of the Hills United Methodist Church is hosting an AARP Smart Driver Course.

Shepherd of the Hills United Methodist Church, 13658 W. Meeker Blvd., is hosting an AARP Smart Driver Course 12:30 p.m. Monday, July 22.
The course, designed specifically for drivers age 50 and older, will be conducted by AARP and aims to enhance driving skills and safety for mature drivers.
Participants can register by contacting Shepherd of the Hills at 623-584-2280 or church@shepherdofthehills.org.
The AARP Smart Driver Course is tailored to help participants maintain their independence while navigating today’s roads safely. Topics covered include defensive driving techniques, new traffic laws, rules of the road and more.
Pre-registration for the course is required due to limited seating. The registration fee is $20 for AARP members and $25 for nonmembers, payable by check only. Attendees are required to bring their driver’s license and a check made payable to AARP to the session.
