The Recreation Centers of Sun City will host the annual Ring That Bell Ceremony at 9 a.m. July 4 in the Bell Recreation Center Social Halls, 16820 N. 99th Ave.
The patriotic tradition celebrates the nation’s birthday in unique Sun City style with Uncle Sam serving as the master of ceremonies.
The celebration continues at Bell Lanes for RCSC members/cardholders and their escorted guests with an old fashioned “indoor” party from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.
There is free bowling, shuffleboard, billiards, and darts along with music and dancing.
George’s Café is offering pulled pork barbecue sandwiches served with chips and bottled water for $8 per person. Donations collected at this event will benefit the Sun City Foundation, including $1 from each lunch purchased.
