Soft rockers in spotlight for Hale concerts in Gilbert

Hale Centre Theatre will pay tribute to three soft-rock artists of the 1970s: the Carpenters, Olivia Newton John and Bread. 

The concerts will be held March 28-April 13 at Hale’s concert hall.  

The trio of artists produced hits such as “We’ve Only Just Begun,” “Top of the World,” “Rainy Days and Mondays,” “(They Long to be) Close to You,” “Diary,” “Hopelessly Devoted to You" and "You're the One That I Want."  

Showtimes are 7:30 p.m. Monday-Saturday with additional 4 p.m. shows Fridays and Saturdays as well as Thursday, March 28. Tickets are $38-$51.
