Chandler Chamber's Oct. 4 free event topic: transportation

Come to a free Friday, Oct. 4 Chandler Chamber of Commerce event to learn more about some road projects in the area. 

The free event is from  8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at the ASU Chandler Innovation Center, 249 E. Chicago Street in Downtown Chandler.

One of the featured speakers will be Carolynn Ludington of the Arizona Department of Transportation. She'll talk about the Loop 202 widening and ramp improvement project.

Audra Koester Thomas, of the Maricopa Association of Governments,  will share information on Maricopa County projects.

Ryan Peters,  the city of Chandler's strategic initiatives director, will share an update on transportation projects involving city streets.
