Michelle Mac Lennan, the cultural arts manager for the Chandler Center for the Arts, was recognized July 15 for 25 years of service with the city of Chandler.

Chandler City Council member Mark Stewart joined Mac Lennan and Mayor Kevin Hartke for a photo as  Assistant City Manager Tadd Willie read off some of her accolades and accomplishments.

Willie said Mac Lennan became the manager of the Arts Center Division in 2014.

As president of the Cultural Foundation, she and the rest of the board have more than doubled its endowment over the past five years to about $7.1 million, Willie said.

Mac Lennan has received several business and arts distinctions and titles over the past 18 years. She’s the current president of the board of directors for the Arizona Presenters Alliance.
