A fundraiser golf tournament is set for Friday, Sept. 27 in Chandler to benefit American Youth Football in Arizona.

A news release states Arizona has one of the most robust AYF organizations, with almost 500 teams and 10,000 kids participating. While AYF tries to keep the costs of playing low, there are still kids whose families struggle to find the funds to pay for registration fees, equipment, and travel.

This golf tournament raises money to pay for scholarships for kids in need, as well as overall operating expenses for the league.

The 2024 American Youth Football Golf Tournament will take place at Ocotillo Golf Club in Chandler. The cost to enter is  $300 per individual person or $1,000 per foursome; sponsorships are also available.

Register or sign up for a sponsorship here.

Registration for the  18-hole, four-person scramble starts at 6 a.m. A shotgun start is set for 7:30 a.m.

For more information on how to get involved, contact tournament director Dee Grayer at deegrayer@yahoo.com or 602-283-6006.
