Chandler Public Library celebrates library card sign-up month

The Chandler Public Library joins libraries nationwide to celebrate Library Card Sign-up Month in September.

The annual event highlights the resources and opportunities available to library cardholders. New CPL cardholders who sign up at a Chandler branch this month can choose from a series of limited-edition library card designs.

CPL’s book collections are vast, though public libraries have expanded resources far beyond traditional stacks. Interactive programs at CPL include learning a new language, joining a book club, or creating something in “The Makery.”

CPL cardholders have access to more than 240,000 physical books across four Chandler branches, along with nearly 70,000 digital eBooks, audiobooks and magazines.

CPL cardholders also benefit from free access to streaming platforms like Kanopy and Freegal, providing thousands of movies and music options. Patrons can explore local attractions by checking out a Culture Pass and take advantage of numerous digital resources such as LinkedIn Learning, Mango Languages and Consumer Reports.

To find a Chandler library location, explore programs and resources, or sign up for an instant eCard, visit www.chandlerlibrary.org.
