Celebrate the work of artists Rachael Slick and Timothy Schirack at a closing reception on Aug. 27 for the current public art exhibition at Tempe Public Library.

The artists will be at the library to celebrate a recently completed public art piece, share their studio works and provide insights for the new project that they are working on here in Tempe, a city release explained.

Slick and Schirack are currently collaborating with the Santo Tomas and McClintock neighborhoods to complete a work of art for this year’s Maryanne Corder Grant cycle. The pair previously completed projects with the Alameda Meadows Neighborhood in 2023, according to the release.
