Tempe hosts walk-in job fair Sept. 12

Looking for a job or a new career opportunity? Meet with over a dozen employers on Sept. 12, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Tempe Public Library.

Employers at the event, which will take place at the library’s first-floor Business Center, include the Arizona Department of Transportation (all positions), Aramark, PRO EM, TitleMax and Speedy Cash, according to a city release.

The city of Tempe also has several open positions: Kid Zone out of school time program, My Brother’s Keeper social service program and Tempe Works jobs program for people who are unsheltered, the release stated.

Explore a wide range of industries including:

  • Manufacturing
  • Management
  • Food service and grocery
  • Recruiting
  • Engineering
  • Retail
  • Healthcare
  • Hotel and hospitality
  • Warehouse driver, logistics and
  • Public safety.

If you can’t make it, Tempe regularly offers free employment services to job seekers of all backgrounds, all skill levels and all ages. 

“Whether you’re an adult with years of job experience or seeking a new career path, we can put our programs and services to work for you,” the release stated.
