Kyrene school offers free meals this summer

Posted

The school year may be over, but a Kyrene school is offering free meals for kids in need this summer.

Kyrene de los Ninos, located at 1330 E. Dava Drive in Tempe, is offering free, healthy food from now until July 22. Meals are offered at no cost and must be eaten on-site.

Breakfast is served from 7 a.m. until 8:30 a.m., and lunch is served between 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. Children and teens younger than 18 are eligible for the summer meal program, according to the school district.

In observance of the July 4th holiday, there will be no meal service on July 1 or July 4.
