Cushman & Wakefield announced that the firm has arranged the sale of the newly renovated and upgraded University Logistics Center, a 112,300-square-foot industrial and logistics building situated on roughly 9.17 acres in the heart of Tempe.

The freestanding building is located at 1345 South 52nd Street and was acquired by Setnix, an owner/occupier, a press release explained

The new and improved University Logistics Center features 3,500 square feet of office space, a new HVAC system, 10 new grade-level loading doors, three new truck wells and a new concrete truck court, among other improvements.

“This was a unique opportunity for the buyer to acquire a vacant, high-quality industrial facility with a strategic location near Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport and the confluence of Interstate 10 and US-60, to house its operational growth,” Mike Haenel, executive vice chair, stated in the release.

Haenel added that the property’s abundant parcel allows for many options in the future like an additional industrial development on the site.
