Dick’s Sporting Goods cuts ribbon on store in Surprise

Dick’s Sporting Goods officially cut the ribbon on its new store in Surprise on July 26.
Dick’s Sporting Goods has officially cut the ribbon on its new Surprise store.
Surprise Store Manager Terry Yates and District Manager Nicole Pratt were among the dignitaries at the July 26 ribbon cutting at 13030 N. Prasada Parkway.
The event included Surprise representatives of Councilmember Aly Cline, Economic Development Director Jeanine Jerkovic and Economic Development Coordinator Kris Cassens. Sean Starner and Gabe Cooper, co-founders of Noggin Boss, a Phoenix-based sports apparel company that makes giant-sized ballcaps, were also on hand at the festivities for photos.
The new Dick’s held its grand opening festivities July 26-28, featuring autograph appearances from Grayson Allen of the Phoenix Suns, Corbin Carroll of the Arizona Diamondbacks and former Arizona Cardinals player Anquan Boldin.
