Surprise offering youth fall break camp in October

The Surprise Parks and Recreation Department is offering a one-week fall break camp for youth currently enrolled in kindergarten through eighth grade.

Campers will enjoy daily activities, arts and crafts, games and sports.

Fall Break Camp will be held from 7 a.m. to  6 p.m. Monday, Oct. 14 through Friday, Oct. 18 at Sierra Montana Recreation Center,  14861 N. Spring Lane.

Registration opens Sept. 9 for residents and Sept. 16 for non-residents.

The registration fee per child is $30 for residents and $50 for non-residents.

The daily fees are $30 (resident) and $34 (non-residents). The weekly fees are $150 (resident) and $170 (non-resident).

To download a registration packet, visit surpriseaz.gov/Recreation and click on the “Youth Licensed Programs” category.

A completed packet must be turned in at the Parks and Recreation office, 15960 N. Bullard Ave., to finalize registration. Office hours are from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m weekdays.

We have a limited number of spots available, and they will fill quickly, so register early.
