Greeting cards come in many forms and needn’t be merely a piece of folded and decorated cardstock. Throughout the year, members of Scrapbooking, Papercrafts & More have endless opportunities to learn how to make unique and fancy card styles.
Member Karen Manthey recently taught a style of greeting card she refers to as a hinged card because the card looks much like a book with a cover and bound spine. The format is easily adaptable to either a landscape or portrait format card style.
This style of card is especially delightful when coordinating colors and patterns of designer papers are layered over one another to accent the cover and spine portion of a card. The card faces are then embellished with stamped and colored images and greetings.
