The Sun City West Fitness Club’s Jazzercise Cardio Sculpt 60 Class held a bottled water fundraiser in June to help those who are vulnerable and at-risk on the streets.

In 2023, there were 645 heat related deaths in Phoenix.

The Phoenix Rescue Mission’s 12th annual Code: Red Summer Heat Relief Campaign received the monetary donation to support their goal of one million bottles of drinking water.

The Jazzercise class was able to contribute a pallet of drinking water equal to 1,920 (16.9 oz) bottles. Sun City West resident Patti Fischer donated 113 liter size bottles of water.
