Smith: Vote early; Get on the list

I am visiting my twin sister in Sun City West and was impressed by your nonpartisan community newspaper.  

Though I was tempted to ask why Sun City West has no recycle and allows Styrofoam, which I  found dumbfounding, I decided your invitation to civic engagement civilly prompted the above. 

If you aren’t on the permanent Arizona vote by mail list, you may go to  https://my.arizona.vote/Early/ApplicationLogin.aspx and apply.

Voting early ensures you vote on time. When you don’t vote, you provide double the vote for someone who disagrees with your views on a person or ballot measure. 

Your vote is your voice. Do use it.
