Francisco: Placement is key to political signs' success

Posted

In regard to Anna Morrison's post, (Political signs serve a purpose), I wonder if the actual placement of your signs is what caused someone to remove them?

Most of the signs I have seen around town are not bothersome at all. However, there were a few places where I thought signs were placed in very bothersome spots.

For example, while traveling southwest on Camino del Sol, approaching RH Johnson there were several large signs on the left that were so close to the roadway, that you had to almost pull out into traffic to see if there were cars coming. Not very safe.

I'm not saying these were ones that you put up, but whoever did, never checked to see if these were put up in consideration of good visibility.

In the future, please, people, be aware of how things like this will affect others. Assess the situation first.
