Arizona 8th District U. S. House of Representatives, Military and Veteran Community Liaison Office, Michael Tree was the guest speaker at the September 5th American Legion Post 94 monthly membership meeting in Sun City West.

Tree was a 15-year United States Air Force Veteran and spoke about the issues  handled by his local office with Sun City West residents, plus provided contact information for additional federal offices that deal with the other veteran-related issues.

Many  residents shared positive experiences when dealing with different federal officers.

The  organization had an empty POW-MIA chair and a set table present during the meeting.  Cmdr. Jack Coyle recapped the history of the display and it’s significance.

The organization is preparing for the Fall ‘24 Post 94 Pancake Breakfast 7-11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 5, at the Sun City West Foundation, 14465 R. H. Johson Blvd.

The ‘All You Can Eat’ breakfast is $7 per ticket at the door.  Raffle tickets for various prizes will be available during the breakfast.

The spring and fall pancake breakfasts are the two major fundraisers held annually by the organization.  Visit  https://azlegion94.org/
