Sun City Ukulele Club member Vicky Miller has taught the first of two classes on tablature, a form of finger picking notes and reading music that goes beyond strumming chords. A second session will be offered 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 24, prior to the weekly Thursday club jam.
All club members are welcome, regardless of skill level.
The Ukulele Club will be offering lessons starting Nov. 7, for all levels, on the first and third Thursdays of the month, 1:30 p.m. in the Fairway Center music room. The club will provide ukuleles for the beginning lesson.
This is a 140-member club that welcomes and encourages everyone to participate in any or all activities. The emphasis is on just having fun with music.
