Members of the Artists by the Lake Club of Sun City are busy painting, creating and planning for their second annual fine arts show and sale, set for 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Feb. 24-25 at the Lakeview Center, 10626 W. Thunderbird Blvd., on the second floor social halls.
The club’s monthly meeting noon-2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 6, in the Lakeview center’s social hall one, will feature a critique by Diane Freeman. Members are welcome to bring two pieces they are thinking about entering into the show that they would like to improve. Freeman is the coordinator for the WHAM Art Gallery in Surprise.
The meeting is open to members and RCSC cardholders interested in learning more about art. Classes are ongoing in pastel, watercolor, acrylic and oil, at all levels from beginner to advanced.
Visit the club 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday-Friday. Contact Deb Dahlin at debdahlinart@yahoo.com for more information.
