Sun City church concert features Connor and The Simpson Family Singers

Bellevue Heights Church hosts a performance by Connor and The Simpson Family Singers Sunday, July 28. The concert is a continuation of a free program providing concerts and ice cream to all attendees.

The Summer Sundae Sunday concert series continues 6 p.m. in the church worship center, 9440 W. Hutton Drive.

The Simpson Family Singers are new to the parish, with David Simpson recently joining the staff of Bellevue Heights Church after spending 19 years as worship pastor of Green Valley Baptist Church in Henderson, Nevada. His wife Annette was a professional singer for many years with the gospel group The Heritage Singers and spent a year singing backup for entertainer Wayne Newton. Together, they will be performing with their oldest son Connor, an aspiring singer songwriter, and their daughter Chloe, a recent high school graduate who will be attending college in the fall.
