Ghostlight Theatre is about to launch its 2024-25 season.

The Sun City West nonprofit community theater opened in 2010 by a group of local actors and directors. The classic black box theater hosts main stage performances at 7 p.m. Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, and at 2 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.

The new season opens Sept. 12 with “Assassins.” In the darkly humorous musical revue, Stephen Sondheim (music and lyrics) and John Weidman (book) depict nine misfit men and women who set out to assassinate American Presidents.

“Assassins” is followed by “Dial M For Murder” (Oct. 24-Nov. 3); “The Holiday Channel Christmas Movie Wonderthon” (Dec. 12-22); “Is There Life After Highschool?” (Feb. 6-16); “The Effect of Gamma Rays on Man-In-The-Moon Marigolds” (March 20-30); and “Barefoot In The Park” (May 8-18).

Tickets are $25 when purchased online, $30 at the door, and $125 for season tickets.
