Being an adventurous and dedicated individual, Wayne graduated from Mayville High School in 1964 and went on to attend Mayville State University, where he earned a degree in Physical Science and Education. Wayne had a deep appreciation for the wonders of nature and committed much of his time to his passion for amateur geology. As a faithful fan, he cheered for both the Vikings and NDSU Bison. Additionally, Wayne enjoyed the thrill of hunting and immersed himself in reading the Bible, finding solace and guidance in his faith. He was an active member of Grace Covenant Church and embraced the community connections he made during his time in Gold Canyon, AZ.
Above all else, Wayne cherished his family and found joy in spending time with his grandchildren. Their outings together were some of his favorite moments, creating lasting memories for them all.
