Devoted husband, father and a lifelong disciple of the Catholic Church, George David “Dave” Hudak. Born February 13th, 1941, passed away peacefully in the care of Hospice of the Valley, August 27, 2024. He is survived by his brother Timothy “Tim” Hudak of Dallas, Texas, loving wife of 46 years, Margaret “Peggy” Hudak of Sun City, Arizona and daughters Margaret “Maggie” Bagood, Joyce Weekley and son Michael “Mike” Hudak of Concord Virginia and stepdaughter, Shari Crawford of Phoenix, Arizona. Preceded in death by his brother, Larry Hudak of Sun City, Arizona and stepson, Paul Douglas “Doug” Davis II of Phoenix, Arizona. Born in Akron, Ohio, Dave enlisted in the United States Airforce after high school serving for four years. He relocated to Phoenix, Arizona in 1974 working with the Marriott Corporation. He was an active member of Saint Clement of Rome Church, and the Saint Vincent de Paul Society becoming President of Saint Vincent de Paul Conference of Saint Clements. He was most happy when he was serving others. David will be remembered most for his kindness to others, his faith and for his love of family (including his beloved Shitzu, Abby).
