Pleasant Harbor at Lake Pleasant will host its annual Celebrate America fireworks show on Wednesday, July 3, 2024.
Pleasant Harbor is home to this annual firework show, as well as food trucks, free kids’ activities, and a live concert featuring the band Rock Lobster.
“This is a great family event and there’s no better place to view the fireworks than on the shores of Lake Pleasant,” said Glen Vortherms, general manager of Maricopa Water District, owner and operator of Pleasant Harbor Marina. “With the colorful reflections of fireworks over the lake, it’s a magical sight.”
Gates open at 5 p.m. with fireworks at 9 p.m. and activities running through 10:30 p.m. Presale parking admission is $27.50 (per vehicle) and $35 day of sale (per vehicle). Presale parking admission for vehicles with watercraft is $35 and $40 day of sale.
Coolers and lawn chairs are welcome. Canopies are allowed until sunset, then must be taken down. Tickets can be purchased online at www.pleasantharbor.com or at the lake on the day of the event.
There are a limited number of dry camping sites available for the 3rd of July celebration. Camp sites are $45 per day with a 4-night minimum purchase. Sites can be booked by phone at 623-235-6140.
Pleasant Harbor is the closest destination and entrance to Lake Pleasant, open to the public 365 days a year, and located off Carefree Highway and 87th Avenue, 8708 W. Harbor Boulevard. Visitors exiting I-17, travel west on Carefree Highway, or take 99th Avenue North from Bell Road to Carefree Highway and then west to 87th Avenue to Harbor Boulevard.
