The Jazzy Poms of Sun City West will present "A Fairy Tale Christmas" variety show in the West Valley next month.
The show will take place Nov. 16-19 at Stardust Theatre, 14401 N. RH Johnson Blvd. There will be 2 p.m. matinees on Nov. 16 and 19, and 7 p.m. shows on Nov. 17-18.
Audiences can follow along as two lost fairy tale princesses on their journey in fantasy land desperately try to get home for the holidays and encounter lively dance routines to music like "All I Want for Christmas is You" or "Step in Time." Singers offer classics such as "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" or "Frosty the Snowman," all interspersed with comedic dialogue.
Tickets on sale for $13 at the RH Johnson Box Office or online at suncitywestevents.universitytickets.com. They also may be purchased at the theatre door 30 minutes prior to show time for $15.
Classes continue in the dance room at Palm Ridge Rec Center, 13800 W. Deer Valley Drive. The club welcomes new members at any time whether experienced or beginning dancers in tap, jazz, clogging, Hula, and Jazzy Poms.
There are also fitness classes in Tai Chi, ballet, stretch, and Pilates to help develop added core strength, agility, flexibility, balance, and mental acuity, all necessary to dance.
