Phoenix Symphony series will introduce kids to classical music

Four-concert series focuses on live musical experiences for children

A musical experiences for children and families is on its way to the Phoenix Symphony.

The Symphony’s Family Series will present four concerts to introduce young ones to the magic of live music with professional Symphony musicians. The Family Series takes place at Madison Center for the Arts in a casual, interactive space where kids can engage with the music and musicians.

First up will be “Viajando por Las Americas/Traveling through the Americas” at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 12.

Look for pre- and post-concert activities including meeting musicians in the lobby and crafts and musical activities. The Symphony is partnering with Mesa Youth Creative Agency to create a visual art piece in the lobby.

A subscription to all four concerts is $80.
