Posted

Gilbert police made two more arrests Wednesday and submitted charges on a third related to teen violence in town.

The suspects all were connected to an alleged assault from Dec. 17, 2022, at a residence near Higley and Elliot roads, police said.

Gage Garrison, 19, was arrested and was to be booked into the custody of the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office on one count of aggravated assault and one count of burglary, Gilbert police said.

Garrison previously was arrested Jan. 24 in connection with a parking garage assault from Dec. 3, 2022. He was indicted Feb. 6 on one count of aggravated assault, a class 6 felony, according to the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office.

Cody Kostoryz was arrested and was to be booked into the custody of the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office for one count of aggravated assault and one count of burglary, according to Gilbert police.

Additionally, longform charges were submitted to the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office on 18-year-old Nolan Russell due to Russell residing out-of-state; however, Gilbert police said the department requested that the Maricopa County Attorney's Office seek an arrest warrant with nationwide extradition upon charging him with one count of burglary, one count of kidnapping and one count of aggravated assault.
