The Queen Creek Police Department is asking for the public’s help following the arrest of a man accused of assaulting and harassing women.
The suspect was arrested on June 12 following incidents in two separate locations, QCPD stated.
“In one incident, the suspect repeatedly harassed the victim inside a local grocery store, using vulgar and provocative language. Later, he harassed and touched another victim in a different establishment, also using vulgar and provocative language,” QCPD stated on its Facebook page.
Police describe the suspect as a 32-year-old white/Hispanic male, 6-feet-3-inches tall, weighing 185 pounds, with a thin build, short hair and a scruffy beard.
QCPD has not released the suspect's name and for “investigative reasons, we are not releasing his booking photo at this time,” the department stated.
“Although he was arrested and booked into the Maricopa County Jail, we believe there may be additional victims who have not yet come forward. Despite extensive online and social media discussions about these incidents, QCPD has only received two official reports,” QCPD stated.
The department is asking any potential victims or those who have had an interaction with the suspect to contact the QCPD at its non-emergency line at 480-358-3500.
