Eastmark High School in the Queen Creek Unified School District will have a new principal for the 2024-25 school year.

The district announced that Chris Webb has been appointed to the position at the school located in Mesa.

"I'm extremely excited to join the Eastmark community" Webb stated in a district press release. "As I enter my fourth year of administration, I am gearing up for the 2024-25 year by familiarizing myself with the Eastmark community. I am impressed with the high quality of our staff and families."

Webb has served as an athletic director and assistant principal. Before taking on those administrative roles, he taught freshman and sophomore English while also coaching varsity track and cross country.

"We are excited to welcome Chris Webb to Eastmark High School," QCUSD Superintendent Perry Berry stated in the release. “We look forward to seeing the positive impact he will have on our students and staff."

Eastmark High School, located at 9560 E. Ray Road in Mesa, is one of three high schools in QCUSD, which includes Queen Creek High and Crismon High.

Eastmark High has recently added a junior high wing. The 39,919-square-foot, two-story building provides 23 additional classrooms to the campus. Construction of the new wing continues work on the final phase of Eastmark’s planned campus. The new wing is set to open when school starts on Monday, July 22.
